soothing, relaxing atmoshere for bringing added flexibility, stress
relief and greater movement into a senior's life. This seated
yoga class offers poses to work the entire body and ends with a 5
minute guided meditation. Very recommended for the
lovely

A
great after-school program for your elementary school-age child that
allows them to let off some steam, strengthen their muscles, gain
flexibility and have fun. The poses will be centered on
superhero-themed and silly-named poses based on actual yoga postures
and will also include some group work. They will learn how
to breath in a "yoga way" in order to help them in times of stress or
upset - to relax and also invigorate, when needed. No previous
experience required - just a willingness to have fun, move their bodies
and learn something new. (Please have your child bring a water bottle and yoga mat to class.)

Gentle Yoga:
A wonderfully relaxing class at a beginner yoga
level. Perfect for anyone who may need some stress relief or
for someone who works at a computer all day/has a sedentary job and
would like to release tight muscles. The class begins with
grounding/centering/short meditation, moves on to floor poses/stretches
for the neck and back and ends with a 10 minute guided relaxation with herbal eye pillows.
8 week session, $100. Maximum 4-5 students per class. Call for more information. "Bring a Friend Special" - register and pay by September 10th, 2010 for you and a friend and you BOTH get 10% off your registration fee. (savings of $10)
Invigorating Yoga: An
energizing class in a beginner yoga level. In this
class, we will focus on bringing more energy to tired limbs and waking
up sluggish muscles. A great way to pep yourself up in the
afternoon. The class begins with grounding/centering/short
meditation, moves on to standing poses/stretches for the legs and arms
and
ends with a 10 minute guided relaxation.
8 week session, $100. Maximum 4-5 students per class. Call
for more information. "Bring a Friend Special" - register and pay by
September 10th, 2010 for you and a friend and you BOTH get 10% off your
registration fee. (savings of $10)
Both classes (Tues and Thursday): $170 for the 8 week session (A savings of $30!) Drops-ins (for any class session) are $14 for the class.
Supplies needed (for both classes):
yoga mat and water bottle. Please wear comfortable clothing
that allows full range of movement. We will be doing all of our
poses in bare feet, but you may wear socks for the ending relaxation.
Eye pillows and light blankets will be provided for use during
this guided relaxation for your convenience ; )
(You may make up any missed class in that same session on the alternate class day, if you are available.)
